About
Lock In. Watch the Colors. React.
Color Lock is a fast-paced color reaction game with one simple rule: you're given a target color to lock onto, and as colors flash across the screen, you can only tap when that exact color appears. Tap too soon, tap on the wrong color, or hesitate too long, and the round ends right there. It sounds easy until the colors start moving fast and your focus is the only thing standing between a clean catch and a reset.
There's no clutter, no menus to dig through, and nothing to install. Open the page, get your lock color, and start tapping. It's the kind of game that fits into a spare minute but pulls you back in for just one more round.
How to Play Color Lock
- Start the round and take note of your locked target color.
- Watch closely as colors flash or cycle across the screen.
- Tap or click the instant your locked color appears — not before, not after.
- Tapping the wrong color, or missing your color's window, ends the round immediately.
- Try again to beat your best attempt.
What Makes It Hard to Stay Locked In
The challenge in Color Lock comes from the gap between recognizing a color and acting on it. Because you're only allowed to tap on one specific color at a time, every other color on screen is a trap — a moment where your instinct to tap has to be overridden. The faster the colors move, the smaller that margin gets, and a single lapse in attention is enough to end your run.
